What material are your 3D printed maps made from?
Our maps are printed using high-quality PLA (Polylactic Acid) filament, which is a durable, eco-friendly plastic derived from renewable resources. It provides excellent detail and a smooth finish.

How long does 3D printing take?
Printing time varies depending on the size and complexity of the map. Small maps typically take 4-8 hours, while larger, more detailed maps can take 12-24 hours or more. We'll provide an estimated production time when you place your order.

Can I customize the colors of my map?
Yes! We offer a variety of filament colors. Contact us to discuss custom color options for your map.

How detailed are the maps?
That depends on the accuracy of the OpenStreetMap data. As a general rule, the higher the population, the greater the density of information in the data. In large cities, for example, many buildings have a stored height information. In villages, on the other hand, most buildings are the same height. In this case, a random algorithm will vary the building heights.

Care & Maintenance

How do I clean my 3D printed map?
Dust with a soft, dry cloth or use compressed air. For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals and excessive water.

Can I display my map outdoors?
PLA is not recommended for outdoor use as it can degrade with prolonged UV exposure and temperature fluctuations. Keep your map indoors for best longevity.

How durable are 3D printed maps?
When properly assembled and cared for, our maps are quite durable. However, they can break if dropped or subjected to excessive force. Handle with care during assembly and display.

Ordering & Shipping

How long will shipping take?
Shipping times vary by location. We'll provide tracking information once your order ships.

What if my map arrives damaged?
We package all maps carefully, but if damage occurs during shipping, please contact us immediately with photos. We'll work with you to resolve the issue.
